A QuietQube remote condenser mounted on a downtown B Street rooftop swings from a cool morning to a warm afternoon, and that daily swing works the head-pressure regulator hard until it drifts out of range. I pressure-test the valve, replace it when it's worn, and confirm it holds at peak afternoon ambient.
- Moderate scale on high-cycle machines. San Mateo's blended water is easier on ice machines than the East Bay's, but a 25th Avenue or B Street kitchen running its machine at full volume still scales the evaporator over time, just slower. I descale, swap the filter, and set an interval based on how hard the machine actually runs, not the calendar.
