What we close on the truck.

Scale buildup in the Indigo NXT water distribution tube. Millbrae water is hard, and on an Indigo NXT the scale settles first in the water distribution tube and across the top of the evaporator. Flow gets uneven, the ice bridge comes out thin or patchy, and harvest times climb. We break the head down, descale the tube and evaporator plates with a nickel-safe cleaner, run the clean cycle, and reset the machine so it fills evenly again.
Stuck purge valve on Indigo NXT modular heads. The purge valve dumps mineral-heavy water at the end of each freeze. When it sticks on an Indigo NXT modular head, you get cloudy soft cubes, a long harvest, or a machine that will not finish its cycle. We test the valve and its harness, replace the valve when the diaphragm is worn, and confirm the purge volume is back in range.
Ice thickness probe drift and short harvest. The ice thickness probe tells the board when the bridge is thick enough to harvest. Scale or a bent probe throws the reading off, so the machine either over-freezes into one solid slab or drops cubes that are too thin. We clean and re-gap the probe to Manitowoc spec, and if it is corroded we swap it and recheck the bridge across a full cycle.
