Scale and hard-water buildup. The South Bay's mineral content scales up an evaporator plate about as fast as anywhere on our route, and Mountain View's kitchens feel it. We descale to spec and set up a filter and cleaning schedule sized to how the unit actually gets used.
Harvest cycle and thermistor faults. A slow harvest, a machine that won't drop its ice, or one that runs a full cycle and comes up empty usually traces to a thermistor or a control board fault. We test against Manitowoc's own specs.
Water valve, pump and float issues. An overflowing bin, a reservoir that won't fill, or a machine that won't start its cycle points to a stuck valve, a tired pump, or a bad float. These Indigo NXT and NEO parts stay stocked on the truck, so a repair rarely waits on a supplier.
