- Scale and sticking float valves. Lafayette's moderately hard water leaves scale on the evaporator plate and sticks the float valve, giving slow or cloudy harvest. We descale the water circuit, free or replace the float, and swap the inlet filter on a six-month interval instead of the twelve the manual quotes.
- Stuck harvest cycle. When ice freezes onto the evaporator and won't release on an Indigo NXT or NEO, it's usually the curtain switch not tripping the harvest valve or a frosted sensor. We usually stock the common repair parts, and we confirm timing after the on-site diagnosis.
- Condenser-clean high-pressure faults. The condenser-clean reminder gets ignored until the machine trips on high pressure and quits. We clean the coil, swap the air filter, run a service cycle, and leave a written cleaning interval taped inside the panel.
