Los Gatos runs its ice machines hard, behind the wine bars and restaurants along North Santa Cruz and University, and in the cafeteria and food-service equipment around the Netflix campus and the other offices nearby. The Manitowoc NEO undercounter and the Indigo NXT modular line are what we see most, and when one stops harvesting during a Friday dinner rush, that's a service bar working off a bag.

We're Manitowoc-certified, factory-trained through the Manitowoc Ice and Koolaire Field Service Seminar on Indigo NXT, NEO undercounter, and QuietQube remote condenser units. That's a real certification to service the equipment, not a sales dealership, and it's the only manufacturer cert we hold.

We're a longer drive out from San Ramon, down 680, 880, and up 17, but we stock harvest coils, curtain switches, and water valves on the truck so most calls involve parts we usually stock regardless of the drive.

NEO undercounter no-harvest. The NEO is the workhorse behind a lot of Los Gatos's bars, and the most common call is ice freezing to the evaporator and never releasing. Usually it's the water curtain failing to trip the harvest valve, or the harvest thermistor reading frosted when it shouldn't. We carry the harvest valve coil and curtain switch on the truck.
Scale from moderately hard Santa Clara Valley water. Local water runs moderately hard, and it shows up on the evaporator plate first: slower harvest, lighter cubes, then a full stop. We descale the machine, check the inlet filter, and set a six-month filter interval instead of the twelve the manual assumes, because scale builds faster here than the factory schedule accounts for.
Condenser-clean high-pressure trips. Both the Indigo NXT and the NEO throw a condenser-clean warning that a lot of owners ignore until the machine trips on high pressure and shuts down completely. We clean the coil, swap the air filter, run a service test cycle, and post a maintenance schedule inside the panel before we leave.
