- Nugget ice production faults. A Scotsman machine along Tully or Senter that slows down or quits making ice usually comes down to the auger motor, a worn bearing, or scale on the evaporator. We test before we replace parts.
- Scale and water filtration issues. A downtown hotel or food hall running a Scotsman head at high volume burns through the filter and descale schedule fast, and output drops once that slips. We reset the cycle so production holds.
- Control board and sensor failures. A machine in Japantown or Willow Glen that runs but won't cycle into harvest, or throws an error code, usually points to a control board or thermistor fault. We run the unit's own diagnostic sequence before we swap anything.
