What we close on the truck.
- Condensers clogging faster near the flats. Kitchens close to the produce terminal and the truck routes in the old Industrial City pull more dust and exhaust through a condenser than a typical strip-mall restaurant does. I've found the coil loaded up in half the time I'd expect at a cafe further from the docks. The compressor runs hot and the box drifts warm. We clean the coil and check the condenser fan motor before we call it anything worse.
- Cafeteria reach-ins down at shift change. The call we get most from the biotech campuses is a True reach-in or prep table that quits right before lunch rush, usually a failed evaporator fan motor or a tripped defrost board. We carry both on the truck and coordinate badge access ahead of time so we're not stuck waiting at a gate.
- Sealed-system and leak repair. Older True units eventually open a line and bleed off charge. We do recovery, evacuation, and weigh-in in-house under EPA #1279674151528, and we're R290 trained for the newer hydrocarbon gear.
