- Reach-in not holding temp. The steady True call in a working kitchen is a box drifting warm, usually a frosted evaporator from a bad defrost timer or a condenser packed with grease and lint. Labor starts around $250 plus the part, quoted first.
- Worn door gaskets. On a True reach-in opened all day in a busy carniceria, a torn gasket lets warm air in and runs the compressor early into the ground. It's one of the cheapest fixes on the truck and we keep gasket stock for the common models.
- Sealed-system and leak work. Older True units eventually leak. We do recovery, evacuation, and weigh-in in-house under EPA #1279674151528, and we're HC (R290) trained for the newer hydrocarbon boxes. Full rebuilds run up to $4000 with a two-year warranty.
