- Scale on the KM head. Orinda's water comes off the EBMUD system and isn't brutally hard, but scale still builds over time and is the usual reason a Hoshizaki head stops making clean ice or cycles slow. - Harvest cycle that won't release. When a Hoshizaki runs without dropping ice, it's often a stuck hot-gas harvest valve or a fouled harvest path. We isolate the valve, check coil resistance, and fit OEM parts rather than aftermarket coils that fail early on these units.
- Bar and prep coolers running nonstop. Hoshizaki back-bar and prep units at Theatre Square and the club run the compressor nonstop on a torn door gasket, ice the evaporator on a stuck defrost, or quit on a seized fan motor. We carry fan motors, relays, thermostats, gaskets, and start components, so a good share get fixed the first visit.
