- Livermore's hard water on KM cubers. Livermore water is hard, and Hoshizaki ice machines pay for it. Scale builds on the evaporator and in the water lines, cube production drops, the harvest cycle won't release, and you get a no-ice call on a Friday night. We descale, rebuild the water circuit, and talk through a filter that actually fits your inlet water so the problem doesn't come back in six months.
- Stuck harvest valve. When a Hoshizaki head runs and runs without dropping ice, the hot-gas harvest valve is often hung the wrong way. We isolate it, check coil resistance against spec, and replace with OEM. We don't fit aftermarket coils, they fail early on these units.
- Bar and prep coolers losing temp. The Hoshizaki back-bar and prep units behind the downtown lines and tasting-room bars quit holding temp during a busy weekend, usually from a dirty condenser, a seized evaporator fan motor, or a torn gasket. We diagnose the actual cause before quoting and carry the common parts for one-visit fixes.

Why does my Hoshizaki keep scaling up so fast?
Livermore's water is hard, so minerals coat the evaporator and water lines quicker than the manual suggests. A descale and the right inlet filter for your water usually fixes it. We'll set a cleaning interval so it doesn't return in six months. -
