The first sign is a grind or a squeal, then heat, then a stall. We pull the motor, replace the bearings or the motor if the shaft is scored, and set the coupling so it runs quiet again.
Spray head and bubbler. Spray and bubbler bowls throw product over the cold surface to keep it moving and cool. Mineral scale and pulp block the spray tube and the nozzle, so the display dies and the top of the bowl warms. We strip and descale the spray path, replace worn tubing, and get the pattern back to full.
Condenser and refrigeration in a busy kitchen. Oakland kitchens run hot and greasy, and that film coats a Crathco condenser and chokes the airflow. The compressor then runs long and the bowl loses its edge during the lunch push. We degrease and clean the condenser, verify the fan and the charge, and restore the cooling for a full-volume day.
