- R290 hydrocarbon recharges. An Atosa unit running on R290 needs the refrigerant recovered and weighed back in by someone trained for hydrocarbon work. We do that under EPA #1279674151528 rather than treating it like a standard recharge.
- Evaporator fan and iced coils. Warm running Atosa units usually trace back to a stuck evaporator fan or a coil that's frosted solid. We knock out the ice, check the defrost timer, and put in a new fan motor if it's seized.
- Door seals and drifting temperatures. Stadium catering and university kitchens run their coolers hard. Once the gasket wears thin, the compressor fights a losing battle. We replace the seal and recalibrate the thermostat before closing out the call.
