R290 undercounter not holding temp. The newer Atosa undercounters run R290 refrigerant, and a slow leak or a weak compressor shows up as a unit that cools but never quite gets to setpoint. We check the charge, look for oil residue at fittings, and if it's a leak we recover, repair, evacuate, and weigh in a correct charge rather than topping it off.
Evaporator fan failure in prep tables. Atosa prep tables lean on a small evaporator fan to move air across the pan rail, and when that motor quits the top stays warm while the base still cools. We swap the fan motor and check the defrost timer while we're in there, since a stuck defrost cycle will do the same thing.
Door gasket and condensation issues. A soft or torn door gasket lets warm air into the cabinet and shows up as condensation on the glass or a compressor that runs constantly trying to keep up. We replace the gasket, check the door alignment, and confirm the cabinet holds temp before we leave.
