Atosa is the cheap commercial workhorse, sitting under a True on build, so it fails a little earlier, but the repairs are usually simple: an evaporator fan motor, a stretched gasket, a clogged drain, a thermostat that won't hold. We carry fan motors, relays, gaskets, thermostats, and start components on the truck, so a lot of these involve parts we usually stock. - Prep tables warming on a clogged drain. Atosa MGF prep tables in the smaller Pleasanton kitchens run warm when the condensate drain clogs with grease and cuttings or the coil ices over. We blow the line clear, clean the coil, drop in an inline screen, and check the rail temperature across the pans so the puddle and the warm rail both stay gone.
- Reach-in fans and gaskets. The MBF reach-ins die at the evaporator fan motor and the door gasket. A busy Main Street kitchen tears the gasket so the door sweats and never really seals, warm air gets in, and the box ices over. We swap the gasket, clear the evaporator, and check the seal through its full swing. Two fan-motor sizes ride on the truck.
- R290 sealed-system work in hard-water country. A lot of the smaller Pleasanton kitchens run Atosa and Turbo Air units on R290 propane refrigerant now, and we're trained on hydrocarbon refrigerant through Mainstream Engineering for them under EPA #1279674151528. Pleasanton's water runs hard, partly off groundwater wells, so any Atosa undercounter ice scales fast. We descale the plate and rebuild the water circuit, and sealed-system work is done in-house with recovery, evacuation, and weigh-in.
