What we close on the truck.

R290 sealed system faults. Atosa's newer reach-ins and prep units run R290 propane refrigerant, which is efficient but needs to be handled by someone set up for hydrocarbons. When a unit stops holding temperature we test the sealed system, and if it's a leak or a failed compressor we recover, evacuate, and weigh in a fresh charge under EPA #1279674151528.
Prep table top not holding 41 degrees. The rail and pan area on an Atosa prep table cools last and warms first, so it's usually the first sign of trouble. We check the evaporator fan, the door gasket seal on the lower cabinet, and the thermostat calibration before we replace anything.
Condenser fan and coil fouling. Catering kitchens run hard for a few hours during an event and sit idle for days between, and that on-off cycle collects dust on the condenser coil fast. A clogged coil runs the compressor hot and eventually trips it out. We clean the coil and test the fan on every visit, not just the ones where something's already failed.
