Atosa sits under a True on build, so it fails a little earlier, but the repairs are usually simple once you've worked the platform: an evaporator fan motor, a stretched gasket, a clogged drain, a thermostat that quit holding temp. What we close on the truck.

Reach-in fans and gaskets. Atosa MBF reach-ins in a busy Temescal or Fruitvale kitchen die at the evaporator fan motor and the door gasket. The seal stretches inside the first year and a half from constant door use, warm air sneaks past, and the box ices over within a couple weeks. We swap the gasket, clear the evaporator, and check the seal through its full swing. Two fan-motor sizes ride on the truck.
Prep-table drains and rails. The MGF sandwich, salad, and pizza tables clog at the condensate drain, grease and cuttings from the board plug the line, and the rail swings warm when the coil ices. We blow the line clear, clean the coil, drop in an inline screen, and check the rail temperature across the pans.
R290 hydrocarbon work. A lot of the Atosa and newer self-contained units around Oakland run R290 propane refrigerant, and we're R290-trained for them under EPA #1279674151528. Sealed-system repairs, recovery, evacuation, and weigh-in are done in-house. Oakland's water is moderately hard, so on any Atosa undercounter ice we descale the evaporator plate before slow harvest becomes a no-ice call.
