What we close on the truck.
- Evaporator coil frosting. A Continental case that's frosted over inside is almost always a bad defrost timer or a stuck evaporator fan, something we see a lot of in the older kitchens around downtown. We track down the real cause instead of just clearing the ice.
- Temperature control board failures. When a Continental unit won't hold its set temperature or the display starts glitching, the control board is the usual suspect. We check it against the sensor readings first, before we touch anything.
- Door seal and hinge wear. Vietnamese kitchens along Tully and Senter and the downtown food halls put their cases through heavy door use every shift. We fit a new gasket and adjust the hinge so it closes properly.
