What we close on the truck.
- Walk-in evaporator coil icing. A frozen evaporator coil in a walk-in usually means a defrost heater or defrost timer has failed. We test the defrost circuit before assuming the worst.
- Condensing unit refrigerant leaks. A slow leak on the condensing unit shows up as a box that runs longer and longer to hold temperature. We leak-check, recover, and recharge.
- Door and gasket seal failures. A walk-in door that's not sealing wastes energy and lets humidity in, which speeds up coil icing. We replace gaskets and adjust door hardware.
