UC-24 undercounter drawer unit not cooling. The UC-24 refrigerator and freezer drawers are popular in remodeled Union City island kitchens, and they take abuse from constant opening. We see failed drawer gaskets, worn slide rails that keep the drawer from sealing, iced-over evaporators, and drain lines that back up. We rebuild the drawer seal path and clear the evaporator so the unit holds temperature again.
Control board and display failure on 600 series. Older Sub-Zero 632, 642, and 650 units use a control board with a vacuum fluorescent display, and after fifteen or twenty years in a warm Union City kitchen those boards fail or go dim. Symptoms are dead lights, stuck temperature readouts, or a box that will not respond to the buttons. We test the board, the wiring, and the sensors before we quote a repair or a board replacement.
Defrost drain ice-up and water pooling.
