Sub-Zero in Concord
Sub-Zero refrigeration in Concord.
Concord is the busiest stretch of our map and the northern edge of where we run, and its Sub-Zero work sits in the hillside neighborhoods above Ygnacio Valley Road and out around Crystyl Ranch. Those kitchens run built-in Sub-Zero and U-Line columns and wine units, and we service them as an independent shop, not a factory-authorized dealer. You get a straight read on the fault and a written quote before anyone opens a panel.
We dispatch out of San Ramon and cover Concord seven days a week. The diagnostic is $75, waived when you go ahead with the repair. Sealed-system work, recovery, evacuation, and weigh-in are done in-house under EPA #1279674151528, because a Sub-Zero seal job done halfway is a callback nobody wants to pay for twice.
Common repairs we do
What we close on the truck.
- One-side-warm sealed-system leaks. The older dual-refrigeration 600 and 700 cabinets up above Ygnacio Valley lose one compartment while the other holds. That's a slow sealed-system leak. We listen to the compressor cycle, check the suction line, pull the kickplate to read the evaporator, then repair and recharge in-house.
- Condenser fans and caked coils. On the Classic 36" and 48" built-ins the condenser coil cakes within a couple years when cabinet trim blocks the grille. We pull the unit, clean the coil, and check the fan bearings so a dry motor doesn't seize and overheat the compressor.
- Wine units and door seals. The wine columns in Crystyl Ranch kitchens drift off setpoint on a tired cooling deck or a failed board, and built-ins run warm on a sagged door that won't seal. We confirm the real fault, square up the door, and rebuild rather than condemn a unit that's worth keeping.

FAQ
Sub-Zero in Concord questions, answered.
-
Do you service Sub-Zero in the Ygnacio Valley and Crystyl Ranch homes?
Yes. The hillside neighborhoods above Ygnacio Valley and around Crystyl Ranch are where most of our Concord Sub-Zero work is. We handle built-ins, columns, and wine units as an independent shop with sealed-system work in-house. -
My Sub-Zero is cold up top and warm in the freezer side. What's wrong?
On a dual-refrigeration unit that's a slow sealed-system leak on one circuit. We find and repair the leak, then recover, evacuate, and weigh in a proper charge instead of topping it off. -
Are you an authorized Sub-Zero dealer?
No, we're an independent shop. That means an honest diagnosis and a written quote first. A Sub-Zero is built to be fixed, so the answer is usually repair, and we'll give you a clear repair-or-replace read before touching it.
