We're an independent shop, no Summit authorization claimed, and we hold EPA 608 for any refrigerant handling a wine unit or compressor swap requires. The $99 diagnostic is credited toward the repair, and you get a written quote first.

Common repairs we do

What we close on the truck.

Dual-zone wine cellar temperature drift. When a Summit dual-zone wine cellar can't hold both zones, we check the cooling deck and the circulation fan before we consider the compressor. Most of these units are salvageable with a deck rebuild instead of a full replacement.
Built-in unit condenser fouling. Summit undercounter units built into finished cabinetry pull dust through the condenser every time the fan runs, and in an older install that's never been serviced, the coil clogs enough that the compressor works overtime and eventually trips the overload. We clean the condenser and check the fan before we look at anything else.
Failed door seal on wine and beverage units. A hardened or torn gasket on a Summit wine or beverage unit lets warm air in and shows up as frost buildup or a compressor that never shuts off. We replace the gasket and check the door alignment so it seals evenly all the way around.
