Refrigeration and ice repair across Fremont

Fremont is a big, spread-out service area, and the refrigeration work splits along the same lines the city does. Along Fremont Boulevard, in Warm Springs, and through Centerville you’ve got one of the densest restaurant scenes in the East Bay: Vietnamese pho houses, Afghan kabob spots, Chinese banquet kitchens, Indian buffets, plus the bakeries and boba shops. Those kitchens run prep tables, reach-ins, walk-ins, and an ice machine that has to keep up. When one goes down on a Friday, the whole line backs up.

The grocery and market side is heavy here too. The 99 Ranch, H Mart, and the smaller Vietnamese and Afghan grocers around town all depend on walk-in coolers, open multi-deck cases, and freezer rooms. We handle the condensing units, evaporator coils, defrost faults, and door and gasket problems that keep those cases holding temp.

Ice machines and Fremont water

Fremont’s water runs moderately hard, and on a high-output ice machine that means scale on the evaporator and slow harvest if it’s not cleaned on schedule. We service Manitowoc, Hoshizaki, and Scotsman cube and flake heads. Andrew is Manitowoc-certified, factory-trained at the Manitowoc Ice field service seminar on Indigo NXT modular, NEO undercounter, and QuietQube remote condenser units, plus Koolaire. We’re certified to service those machines, not a factory sales dealer. We carry water filters, pumps, harvest sensors, and float switches on the truck so most ice calls close in one trip.

What we work on

Walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-ins, prep and sandwich tables, undercounter units, bar and bottle coolers, and back-bar boxes. Brands we see most in Fremont: True, Turbo Air, Beverage-Air, Continental, Traulsen, Perlick, Delfield, Victory, and a lot of Atosa. Many of the newer Atosa undercounters use R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, and we’re HC(A3)/R290 trained through Mainstream Engineering to work on them safely. How it works

We service every brand as an independent shop. No factory-authorization claims outside Manitowoc, no sales pitch. The diagnostic is $75, waived when we do the repair, and you get a written quote before any work starts. If a part is discontinued or the unit isn’t worth fixing, we’ll tell you straight.

Fremont’s a haul from our San Ramon base, so we route the area tight, but a real outage during business hours moves to the front of the day.
