These units run in tight cabinetry with less airflow than a standalone appliance, which is part of why they fail differently than a full-size fridge.
Common repairs we do
What we close on the truck.
- Compressor overheating in tight cabinetry. Undercounter installs with poor ventilation run the compressor hotter than it should, which shortens its life. We check clearance and airflow along with the repair.
- Wine and beverage drawer temperature drift. A drawer unit drifting off setpoint usually points to a fan, a sensor, or a seal. We check all three before quoting.
- Ice maker component failures. U-Line's built-in ice makers have their own water valve, pump, and control components that wear separately from the refrigeration side.
