Just as often, though, the factory braided inlet line has kinked where it's routed behind a tight cabinet wall. We refit a longer line, check the fill cycle, and confirm the drain pump on any gravity-drain setup.
- Damper actuator failing on dual-zone units. When both zones on a 2218 or 3036 suddenly read the same temperature, the DC damper actuator has usually stuck open. We replace it, recalibrate the sensors, and watch the split hold over a full day before we sign off.
