Glycol and direct-draw cooling faults. A downtown San Jose brewery or restaurant running a Perlick glycol trunk line to a back bar needs the pump and glycol level checked first, because those two fail before the compressor usually gets blamed for anything.
Under-bar compressor and condenser issues. Older buildings around San Pedro Square and SoFA box Perlick under-bar units into cabinets without much airflow, which stresses the compressor and condenser over time. We check clearance and clean the coil with every call.
Door and drawer seal wear. A busy Friday night in Willow Glen or downtown wears out a back-bar door seal fast, and once it stops sealing tight the unit runs cold air out into the room all service. We replace the gasket and true up the door.
