- Glycol and direct-draw cooling faults. A tech-office kegerator running on a Perlick glycol trunk line loses cold beer fast if the pump slips or the glycol level drops. We check the pump and glycol level before we look at the compressor.
- Under-bar compressor and condenser issues. Castro Street's older storefronts often box a Perlick under-bar unit into a tight cabinet with little airflow, and that heat soak wears out the compressor and condenser early. We check clearances and clean the coil as part of the repair.
- Door and drawer seal wear. Back-bar drawers that don't seal tight let cold air leak out through a full dinner service on Castro Street. We replace the gasket and true up the door alignment so the compressor isn't fighting a leak all night.
