Ice cream or draft beer unit temperature drift. Perlick's specialty units run tighter tolerances than a standard cooler, and a drifting temperature usually means a failing thermostat or a sealed-system charge that's slowly leaked down. We test both and quote whichever's actually the problem.
Compressor cycling too often. Frequent short cycles point to a start component or refrigerant issue more than a dying compressor. We test the start relay and capacitor before quoting anything bigger.
