Under-bar unit running warm. The most common Perlick call is a back-bar cooler holding a few degrees warm, usually from a dirty condenser coil starved of airflow in a closed bar cabinet, sometimes a weak condenser fan. We clean and test before recommending a bigger fix.
Glass froster or beer system faults. Perlick's glass frosters and draft systems have their own compressor and controls separate from the back-bar unit, and a fault in one gets mistaken for the other. We isolate the actual system at fault first.
Door gasket wear from bar traffic. A back-bar cooler door opened constantly through service wears its gasket faster than a kitchen reach-in, and a soft gasket lets warm air in and drives the compressor into overwork. A gasket swap often clears a chronic warm-running complaint.
