Stanford Shopping Center adds its own load of sit-down and quick-serve kitchens, and the office parks along Page Mill Road and El Camino Real run break-room fridges and beverage dispensers for the tech offices packed in there. Behind the gates in Crescent Park, Professorville, and Old Palo Alto, and in the remodeled Eichlers further south, the built-in refrigeration is Sub-Zero, U-Line, and Summit as often as not, installed during a kitchen remodel and expected to run quiet for twenty years.

The restaurant kitchens here run True, Turbo Air, and Beverage-Air reach-ins and prep tables, walk-in coolers in the bigger spots, and Perlick back-bar coolers in the wine bars. Palo Alto Hills Golf and Country Club adds a private clubhouse kitchen and bar to that mix. Ice machines are Manitowoc, Hoshizaki, and Scotsman, and we’re factory-trained on Manitowoc through the Indigo NXT, NEO, and QuietQube line via the Manitowoc Ice and Koolaire seminar, certified to service them, not a dealer. Every other brand we handle as an independent shop. Sealed-system work, recovery, evacuation, and weigh-in, stays in-house under EPA #1279674151528, and we’re R290 hydrocarbon trained for the newer beverage dispensers in the office break rooms.
Sub-Zero and built-in refrigeration in the homes
A steady share of our Palo Alto calls come from Crescent Park, Professorville, and the Eichler streets in the south end of town: a Sub-Zero column running warm on a failed evaporator fan, a U-Line or Summit wine unit drifting off setpoint, a condensation problem at a door seal that’s given out. We service these as an independent shop, no factory authorization to claim, just a straight diagnosis and the part it actually needs.
The diagnostic is $99, credited toward the repair. Hours are 7AM to 7PM, seven days, and a down commercial unit or ice machine jumps the line.
