What we close on the truck.

Back-bar condensers choked with bar debris. Back-bar coolers sit low, right where lint from bar towels, citrus peel dust, and general bar traffic settles onto the condenser coil. Once it's caked, the compressor runs long and hot and eventually trips on high head pressure. We clean the coil, check the fan, and show the staff where the filter is so it's an easy wipe-down instead of a service call.
Glass-door heater wire failures. The glass-front bottle coolers up near the entrance use a low-voltage heater wire around the door frame to keep condensation from fogging the glass. When that wire fails, the door fogs over and looks like a cooling problem, but the box itself is holding fine. We test the heater circuit before assuming it's the sealed system, which saves an unneeded compressor diagnosis.
Start relay and capacitor failures. Beverage-Air compressors on the smaller back-bar units are hard-started, and the start relay or run capacitor is a common failure point, especially on units that get power-cycled a lot at close and open. We carry the common relay and capacitor sizes on the truck so most of these involve parts we usually stock.
