- Rail and pan-well cooling loss. When a prep table's top rail stops holding cold before a big event day, it's usually a blocked air passage or a weak fan, not the compressor. We check airflow before anything else.
- Compressor and condenser faults. A unit running nonstop without getting cold, or one that trips the breaker repeatedly, points to the compressor or condenser. We test both before recommending a repair.
- Gasket and lid wear. University food service and event-day kitchens run these units hard, and pan-well lids and door gaskets wear out fast. We replace them so the box stops losing cold air.
